The first Miner Benedetto Signature Cabernet Sauvignon was a 2002 vintage that debuted in 2005 at Miner Family Winery in Napa Valley. Since then, each subsequent vintage has corresponded with a jazz concert to commemorate its release. Fender Years: In 1999, Benedetto signed a licensing agreement with Bill Schultz, CEO of Fender Musical Instruments, to create a line of Benedetto jazz guitars as well as a series of ‘Guild Benedetto Signature Models” which included the Artist Award (later Johnny Smith Award) and the X700 Stuart.
